"If money  were the only criterion by which a child's welfare can be gauged, then a baby bought for as much as RM40,000 on the black market would seem set for life. For money- rich but child poor couples, it is a small price to pay to introduce a small life into their home. The cot is gilded, the blanket monogrammed, the college fund filled to the brim. All that's wanting is a bun in the oven. And where there is a baby-for-sale racket, money can indeed buy happiness. And after all, why not?" (NST, March 3, 2013)How do you view above statements?

After reading the statements, firtsly i believed that it is an illegal action to do a business in black market such as baby laundering and I also believe that they do that is not because of happiness but because they are desperate. People will do anything if they are desperate without thinking about the consequences, if they were caught by the cops or by the responsible authority by the act of dealing a business in black market it is surely will not bring any happiness towards both parties.

The rich couples that willing to buy babies from black market is categorize as an immoral person. But if try to think outside of the box, it can secure the baby from the poor family future. With the fund from the rich family, the baby health, studies and whatsoever will be a lot more complete, but if the baby when they grow up and they find out that they are not really the kids of the couples it will surely bring sadness to them.

As what have been stated in forbes megazine by David di Salvo "spending money on things, no matter how elaborate, leaves us wanting more, while spending on experiences, especially with other people, yields long-term fulfillment"(2014) .

As the conclusion, I believe that money can buy happiness but not form a long-term future.
